Founded by Christie Bryant in May 2019, Speaking for the Trees, Inc. began with a simple but powerful mission: to protect, preserve, and advocate for the trees that bring life and beauty to our communities.

Christie’s journey in the Green Industry started with her role as an Interiorscaper, caring for office plants throughout Downtown and Buckhead, where she got her first taste of working with plants on a large scale. Her work took her from designing and decorating holiday displays to climbing trees and assembling towering Christmas trees in bustling lobbies. Inspired by these experiences, Christie enrolled in horticulture school at Chattahoochee Tech, balancing a rigorous schedule of early-morning landscaping work and evening classes on plant identification, soil health, and sustainable landscaping.

Her passion for trees took root during a volunteer tree planting day, sparking a love for tree care that would eventually guide her career. After working as a sales arborist with two major tree care companies, she realized she wanted more—her goal was not just to care for trees but to protect and preserve them.

In 2019, Christie’s took a bold step and launched Speaking for the Trees, Inc. Determined to advocate for the trees that provide shade, shelter, and natural beauty, she dedicated her work to sustainable and thoughtful tree care, sometimes helping clients determine the best course for their trees’ health.

Today, as the seasons turn toward Fall 2024, Christie and the team at Speaking for the Trees continue to serve the community with dedication and passion. We believe that tree care goes beyond trimming branches—it’s about ensuring that our trees thrive for generations to come.
